The demand for such top tier schools to supply education to the explosion of top tier students will produce more and more Ivy-esque schools. Will they have the name of the Ivy League, no. Will they produce the same quality, that is a very good possibility.

To the last point, I would agree with him. When placing the ”tech industry” side by side to law or medicine this is a very new industry and the established reputation of producing top tier law graduated, and medical students holds little sway.

In the end, I just see it boiling down to supply and demand, as the education quality around the world gets higher, we will see more ”elite” post-secondary schools arise.
